VISIONS: Rockwell Power Plant Mall’s Eye-Opening Art Masterpieces

mall posters

Rockwell regularly puts the spotlight on creativity and skill with its annual event Focus on the Arts, this year presenting VISIONS: A series of eye-opening displays for art enthusiasts. From July 9 to 31, artists are able to showcase their talent to the stylish crowd of the Power Plant Mall.

Both traditional and modern themes are in harmony as Rockwell focuses on the visual arts. The North Court features contemporary doodle artists in action. The works drawn live by Rosseler Velez, Luis Sevilla Hernandez, Mark Dizon, Allyn Martin, Winnie Wong, Beejay Esber on back-to-back panels stand as fresh and lively as when they were hand-drawn from June 9-11.

What to wear during the oath

I understand your dilemma (sorry guys, I am particular to ladies here). You want to look beautiful, elegant and one of a kind on the day of your oath. Now you’re looking for what to wear during the ceremony. You went to the mall and finally found your dream dress. Unfortunately the budget is tight. And all you can do is sigh and go home frustrated. Okay, first, don’t worry. You’re not alone. I’ve been through this. And I can share you how God can turn ugly things to a beautiful masterpiece. Also, I’m going to show you how to dress elegantly without getting your pockets empty.

June 2012 New Architects’ Oath taking Ceremony

This is it! The big day. The moment where the new architects who passed the June  2012 Architect Licensure Examination dress up professionally (yeah that’s the word! hahaha) for the most awaited Oath taking Ceremony, held at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel.
As part of the many oath takers, one word that best describes the event was this: E-P-I-C!  Call me mushy but truly it was memorable. I thought it will be cancelled due to really heavy rains , the flooded area and the mood swing. But it went  through successfully! I’m sure of the 987 who passed, almost half prayed to God to stop the rain. Smile Okay, okay no more talks, just see below photos.

My Choice of Dress

I was looking for a formal dress for my upcoming oath taking this July 21.  And I am in a panic mode now since I only have few days. I searched over the net and found these glamorous dresses. I am not sure if they look good on me (hope so). But, check em out, maybe you could help me where I can find dresses similar to these with a low budget:

I like ALL of them since I am not very picky on the clothes I wear. But what I think would suit me is the red dress on the left. It’s simple yet classy. Good for my petite built.  Plus, I think department store have that kind. Well, hope I could find one within the week. Yiii so excited! Smile

Roses from the BFF

I never thought receiving flowers can actually make a person feel great after I got a rose from the bff. It’s just a simple rose in a plastic cover like the one you can buy at the sidewalk of FEU but well, it’s the thought that really counts right?

He gave it after the three of us (BFF)passed the board. We were at the tapsilogan in front of PRC and surprisingly handed me the flower. That was awesome treat! Since we were not really bestfriend, though he always insist we are, now maybe I can consider him one. hahaha Of course I’m kidding.
Why I blog about this?

Early Halloween Night with Sister

It was last night that sister and I had the chance to finally apply mud pack on the face (after the long plans and attempt). And, it turned out to be an early Halloween night. haha!

The mud pack, sponsored by sister, cost P77 ONLY and it’s buy 1 take 1 at the Market Market, Department Store. Why sister bought this is because she noticed my very haggard face, so she thought we could make this a routine. It was my first time to try the chocolate flavored deep pore cleansing mudpack and I so can’t resist the sweet- tempting scent of it. Whew! That was close to me licking it. haha! Check photos below on how we did it.
