Quick Swim and Stroll at Club Manila East

I guessed I’m really blessed with friends who share to me their blessings generously.

Just like when Monica (a blogger friend) invited me to join her party at Club Manila East in Taytay Rizal last Wednesday. Too bad, I had a burial to attend after so all I had was a quick swim and stroll at the resort.

Club Manila East can be one of your options if you’re looking for a getaway near the city. It can be travelled from Makati in less than an hour. Unfortunately, ours took 2 hours, blame the traffic along C6 road.

The resort has variety of pools for kids and adults to enjoy. They have Ocean waves, Beach waves, Bean Pool, Lap Pool, Shaded Pool, Giant Slide, Kiddie Pool, Boating Lagoon, and Diving Pool. You can also enjoy their volleyball area and zip line.

What I enjoyed the most was their boating area and beach waves. If not for the sun’s harsh heat, I’d spent half of my time kayaking. What to loose? It’s unlimited. Winking smile

Next thing we experienced was the beach waves. The waves are totally cooool! Close to real beach waves indeed. Too bad I didn’t get my chance to surf.

Beach Waves

FYI: CME offers basic surfing lesson for P1500 for 2 hours which includes land lesson, surfboard rental and pool training. Just don’t forget to wear proper swim wear.

After enjoying the waves, we decided to stroll a bit. The resort has convenient amenities within such as restaurant, wash rooms, etc.

They also have villas and halls for groups, families or friends who wanted an overnight or longer stay at the resort.

And yes, we ate Jollibee meal for lunch.

New found friends at CME Shaded Pool

Of course I can’t leave without trying their other pools. So, with new friends from different cities, we dipped under the shaded pool. I also taught them couple of swimming basics. I was really happy they enjoyed it.

The downside I spotted so far at CME was the fact that bringing food is not allowed inside. Maybe they set this rule to promote the food stalls within the resort which is not bad, though I really wish food is welcome for those who are budget traveler like me.  The other thing was room maintenance. The toilet and bath door in the room provided for us was already in a bad state. And, there was no light bulb in our room. Those things should always be checked by the management. But as for hospitality, I think I’ll give them a chance to improve.
