Café in the Sky is a coffee house located in Mt Cabuyao, Benguet, which is near the location set of the popular teleserye Forevermore. Since the Forevermore fever hit the country, Café in the Sky started to become a must visit tourist destination when in Baguio.
My first visit at Café in the Sky was 6 months ago. A very close friend of my sister invited us here as they’re somewhat related to one of the owners of the cafe. The café, according to my sister who got a chance to interview the owners, started early last January 2014 when a group of friends were having a chat. Then, decided to put up a café exactly at the spot where their enjoying their drinks. It was later on agreed and established into now functional café restaurant.
Last December, I together with family and friends, once again visited the café. It was now commercialized unlike my first visit. Crowd started to grow like mushrooms. There’s a moderate to heavy traffic on the road. But well, the view, still the same stunning view I fell in love the first time.
Also this time, we tried their menu.
Though the serving was quite late due to the amount of visitors they had that time, I can say we never felt bored at all. Of course the credit goes to the vista, which according to ate Sheen was best during sunrise and sunset. Probably, because the fog drops in the afternoon, visibility becomes an issue. Especially to those taking selfies.
Anyway, back to the food. Café in the Sky offers International cuisine and brewed coffee. What I liked the most from my orders were Fried Lemon Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. Very fresh, taste just right and of good quality at an affordable value.
