Exceptional was how our Social Media Day #SMDay turned out.
A break free from work,
stress and distractions (yes, including social media!). It was all we longed
for. And being in a venue so relaxing, where you'd rather interact with
one another personally than check your social network accounts constantly, was
actually one of the coolest ways to celebrate #SMDay.
Casa Alegria Hotel was the place to blame. It is an exclusive getaway in Tagaytay known for its exquisite rooms and magnificent view. This was where, after the tour at Paradizoo, a sumptuous lunch for bloggers in this year's celebration of Social
Media Day was prepared .

We arrived at lunch time. The minute the shuttle parked the vicinity, I knew everything's gonna be awesome. The first thing we looked at however was not mainly the menu but the view from the outdoor dining on the second floor. It was so nice and relaxing to see Taal Volcano Island in a good wide angle.

And as we had enough selfies and group photos with the scenic view, we then proceeded to ground floor where lunch was served.
Delectable dishes was served by Cafe Lupe. From their impressive kadios soup to their fresh pineapple fruit with sweetened bagoong (fish paste). I just love the combination set in their menu though I wish there's more veggies.
After our tummies reached its limit and get back to its normal, we walked down into the rooms of Casa Alegria Hotel for a walk through.

I liked the concept of making the building cladded with glass, making it look so simple yet elegant on the outside. While from the inside, it's as if you are looking at a big wall screen with Taal Volcano Island in it. I also like the feel of the wooden furniture used, and oh the frosted glass wall for the toilet and bath.
Queen Bed
Truly a very romantic home away from home that will pamper you once you arrived.

After the hotel tour, we gathered at the ground floor dining for the most awaited raffle. Raffled items were from Elabram Systems, Zoomanity Group, Victoria Court and Air Asia. Unfortunately, my name was not picked. But that's fine, though I was really crossing my fingers for the air asia round trip ticket to KL. :)
